In the middle of 2021, I did some research to redesign my personal website. The old version was built on WordPress and had reached its limits for my goals.
During this research I discovered many inspiring portfolios. Most of them were running on Next.js and shared the same qualities: fluid navigation, speed and minimalist design.
I also saw the SEO and Lighthouse benefits. This motivated me to learn JavaScript and Next.js fundamentals through official documentation and community resources.
Moving to Next.js improved how I collaborate with technical teams, clarified my product thinking, and strengthened my problem-solving mindset.
